BULB RIVET ALU/ALU LARGE FLANGE
7.7x 27.7 mm with EPDM washer

ADVANTAGES OF THE BULB / BULB-TITE RIVET

  • Powerful - very high shear strength 6,650 N
  • Weather Resistance - EPDM washer prevents dirt and damp from penetrating the application
  • Excellent Clamping Force  - the 3 large pressure plates evenly distributes clamp force (on the blind side), which allows soft or thin materials to be joined without damage.

INSTALLING / SETTING BULB / BULB-TITE RIVETS

To install Bulb / Bulb tite rivets you need a rivet tool with a special Gesipa Bulb-tite nosepiece. A Bulb tite nosepiece is specially designed to lock the mandrel into the sealing part on the setting head side.

For smaller projects we recommend the HN2-BT Hand Rivet Tool. Though, if you are installing thousands of Bulb-Tite rivets on a larger application or project we recommend the battery powered Gesipa Powerbird Pro Gold (part no. 1679667-BT) or pneumatic operated Taurus 3, as these tools will allow faster and more efficient rivet installation.
